Andy Murray has announced a major career change, just days before the Wimbledon main draw begins.
He will be stepping into the world of online content creation alongside his brother, Jamie.
What's Next for Andy Murray?
The former world number four has taken on a part-time coaching role with Jack Draper, which will consume around 10 weeks of his yearly schedule.
Draper has recently returned from a two-month absence due to knee tendonitis and will take part in his first Grand Slam tournament of the year at SW19, with Murray in his corner.
The New Venture
The Murray brothers will launch a new YouTube channel titled 'The Set', which will have access to various tennis match archives and certain players during major tournaments.
Their content will also be featured on BBC Sport, with the long-term aim of expanding the channel into live events, podcasts, and sponsor-led opportunities.
Inspiration Behind the Move
Andy Murray cited Kevin Pietersen and Bryson DeChambeau as his main inspirations for moving into content creation, saying he is a big fan of their YouTube content.
The first video was uploaded to the channel on Thursday morning, previewing KSI as the first guest, and a cinema-style setting where the Murray brothers watch back some of their old matches.
Upcoming Content
There are set to be a series of upcoming challenge videos, with one giving fans the opportunity to win tickets to Wimbledon, as Andy Murray explores his new career path.
The channel will be produced by Prodigy Studios, who are involved in Gary Neville's channel The Overlap, and have also worked with England icon Kevin Pietersen on his cricket YouTube channel, The Switch.
Andy Murray finished his professional tennis career in 2024, and has since moved into coaching, with his new venture marking an exciting new chapter in his career.
